First refurbished heart lung machine, Type S5, was delivered and installed. These are now available, overhauled and in different configurations from stock
One refurbished heart lung machine Type S3 was donated to the pediatric heart surgery in Asmara, Eritrea by Emleditec GmbH. During the handover, the equipment which was already in hospital was overhauled and repaired free of charge. A detailed report you can download here

Elmeditec GmbH provided medical equipment, knowhow and personnel to operate the equipment, for several episodes of a well-known ARD television series; during which a cardiac surgery procedure is portrayed. The episodes are planned for broadcast early in 2013
